1. Information We Collect

Party Hero is designed with your privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, including how we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other privacy requirements.

The App does not require registration and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name or email.

However, the App integrates with Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), which may collect certain data automatically, including:

• Device identifiers: Advertising ID, IDFA on iOS
• App interactions: Ad views and clicks
• Approximate location: For regional ad relevance
• Player names: Only stored temporarily in device memory during app usage
• Usage statistics: Optional local storage of usage counts (stored only on your device)
• Device sensors: Accelerometer data for shake detection (not stored or transmitted)
• Purchase information: In-app purchase data for premium features (processed by Apple/Google)

We do not collect:

• Personal information (email, phone number, address) on our own servers
• Precise location data
• Photos or media files
• Contact information

2. Consent Management (GDPR & UMP)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to display a consent popup.

This popup allows you to:

• Consent or refuse personalized ads
• Consent or refuse the use of cookies and other storage for ads and analytics
• Review and change your consent preferences at any time

Your choices are stored by the UMP SDK and automatically respected when ads are shown.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• App functionality: Displaying player names during app usage
• Random selection: Ensuring fair and random selection outcomes
• Usage statistics: Optional tracking of usage counts (stored locally only)
• Shake detection: Using accelerometer to detect shake gestures
• Serve ads: Display advertisements via Google AdMob
• Ad personalization: Determine whether to show personalized ads (if consented) or non-personalized ads
• Premium features: Process in-app purchases to remove ads

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Consent Revocation (Your Choices)

You may revoke or change your consent at any time by using the "Manage Privacy Settings" option in the App's Settings page.

• If you allow personalized ads, AdMob may use your data to provide more relevant ads
• If you refuse or revoke consent, AdMob will only serve non-personalized ads, which are still shown but not tailored to your profile
• On iOS devices, you may also manage tracking permissions through Settings > Privacy > Tracking
• You can purchase the premium version to remove all ads completely

5. Data Storage and Security

We prioritize your data security:

• Local storage: Most user data remains on your device
• No personal data collection: We do not collect personal information like names, phone numbers, or email addresses on our own servers
• Secure transmission: Any data transmitted is encrypted using industry-standard protocols
• Google services: All ad-related data collection and consent management are handled by Google AdMob and UMP in compliance with GDPR
• Purchase security: In-app purchases are processed securely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store

6. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements

• Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For processing in-app purchases

7. In-App Purchases

Party Hero offers an optional in-app purchase to enhance your experience:

• Premium upgrade: Remove all advertisements

All purchases are processed securely through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store your payment information.

8. Children's Privacy

This App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under 13, please use this App only with the supervision of a parent or guardian.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected both inside the App and on our app store listing. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above.

10. Managing Your Privacy Choices

You can manage your advertising and privacy preferences directly within the App (Settings → Manage Privacy Settings), as well as in your device's system settings. For additional rights regarding personal data collected by Google, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

Additional options include:

• Clear data: Uninstall the app to remove all local data
• Disable features: Use tap-only mode if you prefer not to use shake detection
• Remove ads: Purchase the premium version to eliminate all advertisements
• Restore purchases: Use the "Restore Purchases" option if you've already bought the premium version
