What age group is Wordy Pop designed for?
Wordy Pop is designed for children ages 5-12. The 3-stage progressive learning system adapts to different skill levels, making it suitable for early readers through elementary school students.
How does the 3-stage learning system work?
Stage 1 (Visual): Children see the complete word and type it letter by letter with visual highlighting.
Stage 2 (Motor): Some letters are hidden, and children hear the word pronunciation while filling in missing letters.
Stage 3 (Auditory): Only the first letter is shown, and children must type the complete word after hearing it.
How do I create custom word packs?
Use the OCR camera feature to take a photo of any text (books, worksheets, etc.). Wordy Pop will automatically extract words, which you can then edit, add to, or remove. This allows you to create personalized learning content for your child.
What are the parental controls?
Parents can set a 4-digit PIN to protect access to settings and reward claiming. You can track your child's learning progress, manage word packs, configure prizes, and control premium features. The PIN prevents children from changing important settings.
Does Wordy Pop work offline?
Yes! Wordy Pop works completely offline. All learning data, word packs, and progress are stored locally on your device. This makes it perfect for travel, areas with limited internet, or parents who prefer offline educational apps.
How does the reward system work?
Children earn rewards by completing Stage 3 with a perfect score (no mistakes). There's a 24-hour cooldown between reward claims to encourage regular practice. Parents can configure custom prizes and must approve reward claims with their PIN.
