Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
1. Information CardSense accesses
Depending on the features you use, CardSense may access:
- Camera frames for card analysis, camera effects, and augmented-reality features.
- Photos you choose to import, edit, or save.
- Motion and haptic hardware for gesture and performance triggers.
- Settings and performance preferences stored on your device.
- Purchase information provided by Apple to confirm CardSense Pro access.
2. On-device processing
Card recognition and the visual analysis used by CardSense are designed to run on your device. CardSense does not operate a server that receives your camera frames for card recognition.
Photos and rendered performance images are stored locally on your device or in locations you explicitly choose, such as your photo library.
3. Information we receive
CardSense does not require you to create an account. We do not ask you to provide your name, contacts, or location to use the core app. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you include in that message and use it to respond to your request.
4. App Store purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple. CardSense receives only the purchase status needed to unlock purchased features. Payment information is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy; CardSense does not receive your full payment details.
5. Third-party services
CardSense may rely on Apple platform services, including App Store purchase services and system camera, photo, and AR frameworks. Those services may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your photos or personal information. We do not share content from your device with third parties unless you choose to share it, a service provider is required to provide an app function, or disclosure is required by law.
7. Your choices
You can grant or revoke camera, photo, and other permissions in iOS Settings. You can delete imported photos, saved renders, and local app data through the app or your device. Removing the app deletes locally stored app data, subject to normal iOS backup behavior.
8. Children’s privacy
CardSense is not directed at children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when CardSense changes or when legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised date.
