Choose a card back, select the reveal trigger, and hold the card steadily above the phone. For the most reliable recognition, use even lighting and keep the card fully visible.
CardSense is built to be simple in the moment. Prepare your effect first, keep the phone steady, and let the app stay in the background while you perform.
Tell us which feature you were using, what you expected to happen, and which iPhone and iOS version you have. Screenshots and a short screen recording are helpful.

Place the card inside the camera guide and hold it still for a few seconds. Good contrast, a clean card face, and a little distance from the camera improve recognition.
Choose a photo, adjust the iris circle so it covers the eye, then start the performance. Swipe in the direction shown by the training guide to select the card.
Assign callers to positions, choose the reveal delay, and start the performance. In training mode, use the numbered grid to learn where to swipe.
Choose the entry direction, reveal trigger, card back, and gravity force. Training mode displays the grid and back navigation while you practise the motion.
Eye Reveal results are saved to your photo library. Trial results include a small Trial Mode · CardSense mark at the bottom of the saved image.
Move to brighter, even lighting; avoid glare; show all four edges; clean the camera lens; and hold the card still for several frames. Card Analysis works best when the card is not too close to the lens.
Use a physical card back with clear detail, place it flat in view, and move the phone slowly. AR tracking needs texture and light; plain or reflective surfaces are harder to detect.
Open iOS Settings, choose CardSense, and enable Camera access. Then close and reopen CardSense. Camera features require a physical device and do not work in the iOS Simulator.
Check the effect settings, iPhone Silent Mode, volume, and haptic settings. Some haptic behavior is unavailable on the Simulator and varies by device.
